Our work

Case studies

Real projects: what the client needed, what we built and what changed.

These are real projects. Where a client has shared a measured result with us, you will see the number and how it was measured; where not, we describe what changed in plain words. We add new case studies as clients agree to share their story.

Speed work: see the before and after results for 24 sites in our speed optimization case studies. Security work: read how we removed malware from two sister tour company websites, and on the blog how we removed a hidden SEO spam infection from BenchmarkTitle.net.

Case studies from businesses like yours.

Real problems, what we did about them, and what changed.

Custom apparel customers design right on the product page

Challenge
AllStar Logo's old product designer was slow to load and froze while customers were designing, which cost the store a lot of customers. The site ran on PHP 7.3, so it could not even be updated.
Approach
We upgraded the site from PHP 7.3 to 8.5 and updated everything, replaced the designer with Codiffy Canvas, converted every saved eFoli design into Canvas, and optimized the speed of the whole website.
Result
A 100 % page speed score across the whole website, PHP 8.5 and fully up to date, and customers finish their designs without the designer getting stuck.

Two ASP.NET gift sites merged into one wholesale WooCommerce store

Challenge
Born ran two separate, dated ASP.NET sites, one for aviation gifts and one for rail gifts. They looked outdated, most of all on phones, and the full product list sat behind one shared login. Born sells only to retailers, so prices had to stay hidden from the public.
Result
The new store went live on 28 February 2023, the date the client had asked for, on a new domain. Two sites and two catalogs became one store, and the client manages products and prices himself.
