Wix Editor, Wix Studio and Velo

Wix offers two ways to build: the Wix Editor, made for owners who want to design by dragging and dropping, and Wix Studio, made for designers and agencies, with more control over layouts on each screen size. For features the editors cannot build on their own, Velo lets developers add JavaScript, databases and connections to other services. We choose the right combination for your site and your team.

Fixing a site that has grown messy

Wix sites often grow one page at a time, with sections copied from page to page and different fonts and colors creeping in. We tidy the structure, set consistent fonts and colors in the site’s theme settings and make sure every page works on phones.

Honest limits

Wix is a closed platform: a Wix site cannot be moved to another host as it is, and some features and integrations are only possible through Wix’s own apps. When your plans go beyond what Wix does well, we say so and explain what a move would involve.

Can you add custom features to Wix?
