Internal knowledge assistants
Staff get answers from your docs in seconds. The assistant searches your own documents, policies and past work, answers in plain language and shows which document each answer came from, so people can check it.

Sound familiar?
- New staff ask the same questions every week.
- The answer exists, but nobody can find which document it is in.
- Experienced people spend their day answering colleagues.
- Policies and procedures live in shared drives, email and people's heads.

How it works
The assistant does not rely on what an AI model learned elsewhere. When someone asks a question, it searches your own documents for the relevant passages and gives the model only those to answer from. This approach, known as retrieval-augmented generation, keeps answers tied to your content and lets every answer show its sources.
Permissions matter
An HR policy, a client file and a price list should not be visible to everyone. The assistant follows the same access rules as your documents, so it never answers from something the person asking could not open.
It shows where the gaps are
Questions it cannot answer are a map of what is missing from your documentation. We report them, so one short new page can answer the same question for everyone who asks it next.

Questions about internal knowledge assistants.
Will it make things up?
It answers only from the passages it finds in your documents, and shows them. When nothing relevant is found, it says so instead of guessing.
Which documents can it use?
Common sources are Google Drive, SharePoint and OneDrive, Notion, Confluence, help desks, PDFs and websites. We connect the ones you choose.
Can it respect who is allowed to see what?
Yes. Answers are limited to documents the person asking has permission to view.
Where does our data go?
Documents are indexed in storage you control, and only the passages needed for an answer are sent to the AI provider, under terms that do not use them for training.
Can staff use it in Slack or Teams?
Yes. It can run in Slack, Microsoft Teams, a web page or your intranet.
