One page, one job

Every important page should answer one kind of search clearly. When several pages chase the same words, search engines split their attention and none of them ranks well. We map each page to one main search intent, based on your Search Console data and what the results actually show, and then improve the page for it.

Written for people first

Titles and descriptions are the first thing a searcher reads, so they are written to be clicked, within the space Google shows. The copy answers the questions a buyer has before getting in touch, in plain words, and shows what makes you worth choosing. We do not stuff keywords: search engines understand topics, and so do readers.

How it works

  1. Free call

We look at your key pages and what you want to be found for.

From you: Search Console access, if you have it.
  2. Keyword map and quote

Which page targets which search, and a fixed quote for the pages to improve.

From you: Approval of the map.
  3. Page improvements

Titles, headings, copy and links improved page by page, with your review of anything customers read.

From you: Your input on facts and wording.
  4. Publish and track

Changes published and tracked in Search Console.

  5. Refine

Pages adjusted based on what the data shows.

What affects the price

Every project gets a fixed quote after a free call, so you know the total before anything starts. These are the things that move it.

  • Number of pages
  • Copywriting needed
  • Depth of research
  • Platform and editing access
  • One-off or ongoing

Custom EL wire builders, repairs and SEO for a WooCommerce store

Challenge
By July 2019 every page of the store except the home page returned a 404 error, 28 plugins were overdue for updates, live chat had disappeared and shoppers in Canada could not get shipping rates. The owner also could not change the Kit Builder's prices himself.
Result
In October 2019 the store ranked first for "el wire kit builder". The SEO report for 14 December 2019 to 14 January 2020 showed a significant rise in monthly organic revenue and more than 10 newly ranking keywords.

Questions about on-page SEO.

How many pages should we optimize first?

Start with the pages that bring in customers: your main services or categories, and the pages that already get impressions without clicks. We rank them in the keyword map.

Will you rewrite our content?

We improve structure and wording and suggest additions, and you approve anything your customers read. We can also write new sections from a short interview.

Do meta descriptions affect rankings?

Not directly, but a clear description can win more clicks from the same position, and Google often shows it in the results.

How is this different from technical SEO?

On-page SEO improves what each page says and how it links to others. Technical SEO makes sure search engines can crawl and index the site at all.

How long do changes take to show?

Often a few weeks, once Google has recrawled the pages. We track each page in Search Console so you can see the effect.
