You need calls, bookings and enquiries, and a site that makes the next step obvious.

  • Growing companies

Your offer has changed, and the site still describes the business you were a few years ago.

  • Teams replacing a DIY site

You started on a builder or a template and now need a site that looks as good as your work.

What a website has to do

A business website has one job on each page: help the visitor take the next step. For a service business that is usually a call, a booking or an enquiry; for a store it is a purchase. We decide that step for every page before designing it, so the layout, the headings and the buttons all point the same way.

Built to be edited

Most sites we build run on WordPress, with page templates and blocks shaped around your content, so adding a service, a case study or an article does not need a developer. When a hosted builder fits you better, we build on Shopify, Squarespace or Wix instead and explain what that means for flexibility and running costs.

Fast and findable from day one

Speed, accessibility and search basics are part of the build, not an add-on: right-sized images, clear headings, a title and description for every page, redirects from your old addresses and structured data that describes your business.

How it works

  1. Free call

We talk about your business, who you want to reach and what the site has to do.

From you: Links to your current site and to sites you like.
  2. Plan and quote

A page plan, the platform we recommend and a fixed quote.

From you: Approval of the plan.
  3. Design

Layouts for the key pages on desktop and phone, revised with you.

From you: Feedback on each round.
  4. Build on staging

The site is built on a private copy with your content, and tested on phones and browsers.

From you: Final copy and images.
  5. Launch

We move it live, redirect old addresses and check forms and tracking.

What affects the price

Every project gets a fixed quote after a free call, so you know the total before anything starts. These are the things that move it.

  • Number of pages and page types
  • How much help with the copy you need
  • Custom features such as bookings, calculators or member areas
  • Content moved from an old site
  • Platform, and any paid plugins or themes

Questions about website design and development.

How long does a new website take?

It depends on the number of pages and how ready the content is. You get a timeline with the fixed quote, and the build happens on a staging copy, so your current site stays live until the new one is approved.

Will I be able to update the site myself?

Yes. The site is built so your team can edit text, images and pages, and we show you how at handover.

Do you write the content?

We can shape and edit the copy with you, or write it from an interview about your business. You always approve the words before launch, because you know your customers best.

Will I lose my Google rankings when the site changes?

Not if the move is done carefully. We keep addresses where we can, redirect the ones that change to their closest new page, and carry over titles and descriptions that already work.

Which platform should I choose?

WordPress suits most businesses that want flexibility and to own everything. Shopify suits stores that prefer a hosted platform, and Squarespace or Wix suit small sites you want to run alone. We recommend one on the free call and explain why.
