When a website platform is the wrong tool
WordPress, Shopify and similar platforms are excellent at pages, content and stores. They are the wrong base for software with many user roles, complex workflows or data that belongs in a proper database: a job-tracking system, a client portal, a quoting engine or the back end that runs a network of sites. That is when we build custom software.
Choosing the technology
We build in ASP.NET and .NET when a business already runs on Microsoft technology or needs their strengths in large, structured applications, and in Laravel or Node.js when those fit better. You own the code, it lives in your accounts, and it is documented so another developer could take it over.
