Challenge
The older WordPress site had a small, blurry logo, a tiny profile photo and an out of date staff listing. The owner wanted a new design that kept her green colours and most of her wording, without a blog page.
Approach
We sent 18 design directions, adapted the chosen one to insurance compliance consulting, recreated the logo from scratch in the same colours, moved and reworked the content and handed over illustrated instructions so the owner edits her own pages in Elementor.
Result
The new site went live at the end of June 2023, and the same build is still live more than three years later. The owner edits her pages herself.

What SKM needed

The older WordPress site used a green colour scheme. The logo file was small and blurry, the profile photo was tiny and the site still listed a staff member who had left. The owner wanted a new, updated design, was happy to reuse her own artwork and most of the wording, asked for the green colours to stay and did not want a blog page.

What we did

  • 18 design directions The owner picked a professional services layout, which we adapted to an insurance compliance consultancy.
  • Progress she could watch A staging copy on her own hosting, so she could follow the build.
  • Content moved and reworked The content from the old site reworked to fit the new layout, the outdated staff listing and every reference to an old client login area removed.
  • A recreated logo Redrawn from scratch in the same colours, because the original was too small to use.
  • Images and icons Matching stock images and icons, and later a home page hero image the owner supplied.
  • Review rounds Three written rounds of comments plus two final lists, covering the header and footer logo colours, service titles and hover states on links.
  • Handover The site tested live, the email addresses updated, a full admin account and illustrated instructions for editing pages in Elementor, followed by a month of support and text changes.

The result

The first complete draft was ready about two weeks after work began, and the new site went live at the end of June 2023. The owner edits her own pages, and the same build is still live more than three years later. We still test the contact form regularly, handle updates and monitor the site’s security.

The client wanted one new website that teaches people about Social Security and retirement income, gives away guidebooks and works as the landing page for every agent in its program, with a consumer view and a professional view on one domain.
Result
The site went live on 13 March 2026, and its matched lead, non-match and agent registration emails have run since launch.
