Case study: NGraves Bait Molds and Your Battery Buddy

Two stores for one owner rebuilt on WooCommerce, designs kept

One owner runs two online stores. Both needed a rebuild, the designs customers knew had to stay, and Your Battery Buddy ran on Magento.

In short

NGraves Bait Molds and Your Battery Buddy belong to the same owner. NGraves sells resin soft-plastic bait molds, and Your Battery Buddy sells parts for radio-controlled car racing. Codiffy rebuilt both websites while keeping their designs the same: NGraves was already on WooCommerce, and Your Battery Buddy was moved from Magento to WooCommerce.

The short version

Challenge
One owner runs two online stores. Both needed a rebuild, the designs customers knew had to stay, and Your Battery Buddy ran on Magento.
Approach
We rebuilt both websites with the same design: NGraves on WooCommerce, where it already was, and Your Battery Buddy moved from Magento to WooCommerce.
Result
Both stores run on WooCommerce, looking the way customers know them.

About the two stores

Both stores belong to the same owner. NGraves Bait Molds sells resin soft-plastic bait molds, made in the USA, and makes custom molds on request. Your Battery Buddy sells parts for radio-controlled car racing: LiPo batteries, chargers, motors and speed controllers, tires and wheels, and drag racing parts.

What the owner needed

Both websites needed to be rebuilt, but their customers knew them well, so the designs had to stay the same. NGraves already ran on WooCommerce. Your Battery Buddy ran on Magento, and the owner wanted both stores on the same platform.

Born Products
  • Online store
  • WooCommerce
  • Wholesale

Two ASP.NET gift sites merged into one wholesale WooCommerce store

Challenge
Born ran two separate, dated ASP.NET sites, one for aviation gifts and one for rail gifts. They looked outdated, most of all on phones, and the full product list sat behind one shared login. Born sells only to retailers, so prices had to stay hidden from the public.
Result
The new store went live on 28 February 2023, the date the client had asked for, on a new domain. Two sites and two catalogs became one store, and the client manages products and prices himself.
