Test what earns money

A site can look fine and still be losing enquiries: a form that stopped sending, a payment method that fails in one browser, order emails going to spam. None of these show up until a customer complains, if they bother. We write down the journeys that matter and check them regularly, by hand or with automated tests, so problems are found by us first.

Troubleshooting to the cause

When something breaks, the quick fix is often a workaround that fails again next month. We look for the cause, whether a plugin conflict, a server setting, an expired key or a change at a third-party service, and fix that.

How it works

  1. Free call

We list the journeys that matter most.

  2. Set up

Checks written and a first full test run.

From you: Test accounts and a way to place test orders.
  3. Check

Journeys tested on the agreed schedule and after changes.

  4. Fix

Problems traced and fixed, or reported with options.

  5. Improve

Recurring problems fixed at the cause.

Broken links redirected and form emails rescued for a commercial technology company

Challenge
After a recent redesign, many old page addresses that still ranked in Google led to error pages, the company had no access to the site's Google Analytics, and form emails were being quarantined by Microsoft 365 as phishing.
Result
Form emails reach the inbox again and every submission is stored as a backup. In the week to 1 September 2026 no email failed to send.

An unsupported WordPress site brought up to date in six days

Challenge
The site ran on a PHP version so old that WordPress no longer offered updates for its core, theme or plugins.
Result
Six days from introduction to completion report: a supported PHP version, updated plugins, a clean malware scan and a working Carving Search page.

Questions about routine QA and troubleshooting.

How often do you run checks?

It depends on how often the site changes and how much it earns: weekly or monthly for most sites, and after every update or release.

Do you use automated testing?

For stable journeys such as checkout and forms, automated tests run on a schedule and alert us. Manual checks cover what automation misses.

Can you fix problems on a site you did not build?

Yes, whoever built it.

Why do our site emails go to spam?

Usually because the site sends mail without proper authentication (SPF, DKIM and DMARC), or through the web server instead of a mail service. We fix the setup and test delivery.

What do we get when a problem is found?

A fix, or, if it needs a decision, a short explanation with the options and costs.
