A message from our founder

A note from Haroon

Thank you for taking the time to get to know Codiffy. I am Muhammad Haroon Ur Rasheed, most people call me Haroon, and I founded Codiffy in 2018.

Before Codiffy, I built WordPress and WooCommerce websites for clients at a web agency, until 2017. In 2018 I started Codiffy so that a business could bring one team the whole job instead of splitting it between suppliers: the website or store, the custom plugins it needs, its speed and its security, and looking after it month to month.

Today we work with businesses and agencies across the United States and Canada, from our offices in Rawalpindi, Pakistan and Frisco, Texas. Most of our work is still WordPress and WooCommerce. Around that core we build custom software and mobile apps, set up AI automation and design brands and marketing visuals. We have sold our own WordPress and WooCommerce plugins on CodeCanyon since March 2019.

The sites we look after are protected by Guardian Shield Lite, the WordPress security plugin we built. It locks a site’s code, removes known malware only after saving the evidence, guards the administrator accounts and reports every site to a hub we watch. And when a store needs something no plugin does, we build it: for AllStar Logo, a custom apparel store, we built Codiffy Canvas, the product designer that now runs on all 1,795 of its designable products.

Muhammad Haroon Ur Rasheed, also known as Haroon Rasheed, is the founder and CEO of Codiffy, a web development studio founded in 2018 with offices in Rawalpindi, Pakistan and Frisco, Texas. He has more than 10 years of experience building with WordPress and WooCommerce, and he leads Codiffy’s development and security work: custom WordPress and WooCommerce plugins and themes, WooCommerce store logic, website speed, and the protection of the sites Codiffy manages.

• 2011 to 2013: business studies at Manchester Metropolitan University, including corporate strategy and planning, international business, managing organisations, strategic human resource management and strategic marketing management.
• 2016: qualified as a PHP developer and in web design and development.
• Until 2017: built WordPress and WooCommerce websites for clients at a web agency.
• 2018: founded Codiffy.
• 2019: Codiffy became a CodeCanyon author, selling its own WordPress and WooCommerce plugins.
• Today: leads Codiffy’s projects for clients in the United States and Canada, and the plugins Codiffy builds and runs on client sites, including Guardian Shield Lite.
